Is four days enough for a first visit to Scotland?
For a first passage, yes. The Kingdom keeps to one round a day within a small radius, so the week reads as travel rather than transit — Fife and East Lothian, no long drives, and time left for the towns.
Is the Old Course guaranteed on this journey?
It is secured off-ballot before you travel and confirmed in writing. Should the course close for weather or championship reasons, we move the round within the week.
Can non-golfing partners join?
Frequently. Whisky at Kingsbarns, the St Andrews cathedral and castle, sea-cliff walks, cashmere at Johnstons and a private day in Edinburgh all run in parallel, and everyone reconvenes for dinner.
What is included in the quoted rate?
Accommodation, all green fees and caddies, private car and driver throughout, breakfasts and reserved dinners, distillery and estate appointments, and the concierge who holds the week together. Flights and personal purchases sit outside.
Can the journey be lengthened or reshaped?
Every week we build is bespoke. The Kingdom is most often extended with two Ayrshire nights at the start or a Highland run at the end.

Why two rounds at Royal Dornoch?
Because one is never enough. The first round teaches the ground and the second answers it — returning guests consistently name the second Dornoch round the best of the week.
How long are the drives between Fife and Sutherland?
The single long transfer is Carnoustie to Skibo, around four and a half hours through the Cairngorms, taken by private car with a scenic pause. Everything else is short. Helicopter transfer can replace it where preferred.
What is staying at Skibo Castle like?
A private members' estate taken as a house party — falconry, salmon on the Shin, a whisky library, and dinner at a single long table. It is the reason many guests choose this routing.
When is the best time to travel north?
May through September. June and July carry light until nearly eleven at night, which makes late second rounds and long dinners possible.
What is included in the quoted rate?
Accommodation, green fees and caddies, private car and driver, estate activities, breakfasts and reserved dinners, and the accompanying concierge. Private aviation is quoted separately.

Is seven days too much golf?
Six rounds across seven days, never two in one day, with rest built into the arrival and the transfers. It is the fullest journey we run, but it is paced for pleasure rather than endurance.
Can Muirfield genuinely be played?
When the club is receiving visitors on your dates, yes. Muirfield play is by invitation and never guaranteed; where it is not available, Gullane No.1 or North Berwick West takes the morning.
Do we ever double back on ourselves?
No. The route runs Ayrshire to Fife to the Highlands and departs from Inverness, so no night is spent retracing ground.
How far in advance should this be booked?
Twelve to eighteen months. The combination of Turnberry, the Old Course and Royal Dornoch in a single week requires all three to be aligned before anything is confirmed.
What is included in the quoted rate?
All accommodation, green fees and caddies, private car and driver across three coasts, estate and distillery appointments, breakfasts and reserved dinners, and the concierge travelling with the itinerary. Charter aviation is quoted on request.
